Yes, if you check direct deposit with no account info, it will print a voided check. EZJOB will assume you are using National Payment; however, you can simply delete the National Payment direct deposit file.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I created a small demonstration of how to do the second method. You can view it here.

Are you referring to the custom invoice template that we just released? You can do a couple different things here.

1. You can resize the City, State, Zip textboxes so they fit together without spaces. For instance, you would right align the City and then left align the state and zip code. You would need to shrink the width of the state textbox as well.

2. The easier approach would be to delete the City, State, and Zip textboxes and add your own label control where you can put your city, state and zip all in one label at the spacing you desire.

Give one of those a try and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Adam

There are some formatting issues with the Equipment Detail report. I think it should be printing in portrait mode, but it's printing in landscape. Everything is shoved off to the left side of the page with a huge right margin. It just looks weird. Could you fix that?

Yes, I am aware of the job problem. There we go adding functionality, but then breaking things that used to work in the process....not our finest hour. We do have fix for the job screen coming during tonight's update - so have no fear....you will be saving jobs by the morning.

ok yes it is very annoying it intonce I am in a form it is when I do a drop down menu to choose a form or a report and it also does it if my outlook pops up a reminder or something....and right now it is covering half of this forum? It is really crazy! Yes it is the entire black background and EZ Job logo. Also any info on being able to save jobs? I have not been able to save a new job all day? Thanks.

Oh, no, I don't doubt that it is doing it. What I meant was I need to reproduce it in an environment where I can debug it in the source code so I can make changes and verify that it fixes the problem. Don't worry, I will come up with something and try to get an update out as soon as possible (hopefully tomorrow). I will keep you posted using this thread.

That must be very annoying and I'm sorry you are having to deal with it (hopefully it won't be too much longer!)

Thanks,
Adam

So let's take the Customers screen as an example. When you first bring up the customers form, you see the EZJOB logo from the main screen bleeding through. Do you see the black background bleeding through as well? Then when you start to click fields on the customers form, like CompanyName, the form will come to the foreground and the logo will disappear?

Does all that sound right?

I would like to get this corrected right away - I just need to figure out how to reproduce it on my end.

Thanks for your patience,
Adam

The main screen; no it pops up over anything mostly the drop down menus though? Then if I click on a field in what I am trying to fill in bits of it will show thru the EZ JOB overlay. Does that make sense? I am using Windows XP and my computer is brand new. I downgraded to XP. Thanks for the quick response!

The EZJOB logo on the main form bleeds through to the edit and entry forms? Does this happen on all forms or just a select few (if so, could you tell me which ones)? Also, could you tell me what version of windows you are using as well as the age of your computer?

Thanks,
Adam
