I am sure you all noticed we had a minor glitch during this update. One of our license files did not go out with the update, so you might have seen a trial banner on your reports, if you ran any. This was brought to our attention and we were able to rectify the problem very quickly (about 30 minutes).
Now, on to the contents of the update!
This is the first of several updates that will include project management functions. Included in release 1.2.0.7 is a job schedule. Your project managers can use this to add schedule items to jobs, similar to Microsoft Project without dependencies. Here are some features:
*You can create any number of categories *You can differentiate estimate schedules versus actual schedules *Drag and drop functionality on schedule items *You can use a filter to show only specific jobs *You can use a filter to show only specific categories *You can set permissions so your users can only edit the job schedules you allow them to (coming soon)
Note: You are required to set up your categories before using the schedule - we can't have any schedule items that don't fall into a category.....
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks, Adam
