Employee form - there is a field labeled "SUTA State". What is that?

This is the state code used to compute the state unemployment tax for the employee. Most of the time the State of Residence and SUTA State are the same; however, occasionally they are different.

This only applies when you have employees working in different states and I don't think you have to worry about this.
