how does EZJOB handle sales tax on taxable jobs??

Suppose I have an inventory item that I need to cost out to a taxable job. I see a place for sales tax on the job issues screen, but I don't know how to tell it to apply sales tax to the item? Please help.

First you will need to make sure your job has a sales tax percent in the "Sales Tax Percent" field on the Edit Jobs form. Then you will need to make sure the inventory item has the "Taxable" field checked on the Edit Inventory Items form. Once you complete these two steps, you should then be able to do a job issue and the sales tax amount will be calculated for you.
When the issue is posted, the total including sales tax will be costed to your job.
