Does anyone actually break their subcontracts into multiple cost codes? Just interested, cause we never do and I'm wondering what the gain would be?

I don't know, we only use one distribution. My guess is that you could have a subcontractor who works on multiple aspects of your job and you didn't want to break it up into multiple subcontracts.....just a guess though and it doesn't sound like a good idea!

Yeah, it's just added flexibility in the event that someone wants to track their subcontracts that way. We try to make sure the ball is in the user's court, instead of trying to force everyone's hand.
