I have talked with you guys before about this, but I would really like to see a work order system integrated into EZJOB. Obviously, we could really use this - and I'm sure it would benefit plenty of other contractors too. Plus it might open it up for you guys to expand into other markets???

Here's what we would need:

1. Service call comes in and a WO No is assigned to it. The customer record is created if it does not exist, then assigned to the work order
2. The Work Order form would be printed and assigned to a service tech
3. The service tech would take the work order form on the service call and record all material used for the call. Also all additional employees would be noted, along with the hours worked on the call. Any special, non-material, charges would be noted. The customer would sign the completed work order.
4. The signed work order would be given to the accounting department. The work order record would be retrieve and all information from the work order form would be recorded.
5. Payments made by the customer to the service tech would be applied to the work order record.
6. When the work order was *complete*, it would be brought up and posted. Then an invoice form would be printed and sent to the customer. The invoice would be created in the AR system, with all of the distributions from the material and labor for the work order.
