I have a few cost codes that I would like to delete on a job (they are muddying up some of my reports). However, when I try to delete a cost code, I get a message stating that cost has been applied to this cost code and I cannot delete it. I know cost has been applied to it, but I still want to delete it. The cost applied to it was a mistake and it is very minimal anyway - I would just like it to go away!

I don't have an easy answer for you. Unfortunately, EZJOB will not let you delete a cost code if cost is applied to it. You could always void the invoice (or other culprit) and then delete the cost code. That would be my recommendation.

It was actually a rogue inventory issue. I didn't even think to void the issue, but that did the trick. Thanks!
